In the realm of men's personal development, confusion, complexity, and inaccessibility are far too common. It's time for a change.

His-story…

A truly seasoned men’s work guide with well over two decades of experience, Laurence is dedicated to demystifying personal development for men – and making it powerful, practical, and real.

Raised on the vibrant but unforgiving streets of pre-gentrified East London, Laurence learned early what it meant to survive, to perform, and to protect. With a father deep in the criminal world and a model of masculinity rooted in power and fear, he carried the weight of expectation into adulthood.

His 20s brought status and success – running a prestigious London book dealership, travelling the world, directing a feature film. But beneath the surface, things were falling apart. The excess, the image, the hustle – it masked deeper wounds.

The 2008 crash brought it all to a head: near bankruptcy, bailiffs, and a son on the way. That was the reckoning.

What saved him wasn’t a program. It was brotherhood. It was the men of the ManKind Project, who stood by him when everything else collapsed. That moment lit a fire he’s carried ever since.

Today, Laurence serves as Development & Outreach Director for the ManKind Project UK & Ireland and co-founded Masculinity X, a grass-roots community offering men a way to live with connection, challenge, contribution, and celebration.

Through his work, he offers tools forged in the real world – accessible, unapologetic, and built for men from all walks of life.

“After 23 years walking this path – my own and with other men – I’ve seen what works. The patterns. The themes. The real journey. When taken in the right order, at the right pace, it can save a man decades. I’m on a mission to rewrite the story of men’s personal development and make it accessible to all.”
